It has been awhile

It has been a while since I have posted to my blog.  I have been concentrating so hard on working for South Valley Motorports and just surviving summer with ms that I haven't done much on the blog.  I am still making bracelets but just not at a fever pitch like I was at the start of the year.

Dog collar

I made a collar for my dog Joey tonight.  It is a king cobra weave with an 1 1/2" latch and a d ring I had in the garage.  It took 43' of paracord.  I think it turned out pretty awesome.

Survival necklace

This is a survival necklace I made last night.  It has about 30 feet of paracord in the necklace and 6 vaseline soaked cotton balls in the pill container.  I wrapped the pill container in duct tape and electrical tape.  More to come.

Watches

These are something I have been working on after I received some feedback from some friends on my watchband that I have had for a while now.  I can do a whole watch in one color with one strand of paracord.  It took some work but I made it work.  I can do a watch you already have or I have some pretty cool analog faces I can provide.  The King Cobra that I do is $20.00 w/ latch if you give me your watch or $30.00 + for some I have found.

New styles

I've got some new stuff that I have been working on.  The first is a stretchy bracelet.  They still are in cobra and king cobra, $10 & $18 respectively.  They are way cool and comfortable.  They are easy to size and even easier to take on and off.

OK it is snowing

Well atleast in Utah County we are being blasted by snow.  I checked a minute ago and we are up to 8".  I love snow.  I guess sending out the snow shovelers diary really helped.

Why is it raining?

It is raining... We don't live in Seatle, we expect a white Christmas here in Utah.  Don't get me wrong, I'd take rain over inversion any day.  I just want snow.  I want the peace that it brings.  I want the noise vacume effect it has on everything before the sun rises and presents a new day.  I want a lot of snow so I can build a snow cave in the back yard and sleep in it.  I can imagine Nancy's eyes rolling and a sigh as I write this. 

A good joke to make you not want snow.
